Capel Community Church (CCC) is all about community, and the people who live in our village and the surrounding areas.
We seek to have a positive influence in our community and what goes on; working both independently and in co-operation with the other church families in Capel.
The leadership team is supported by a second tier of members who are responsible for areas such as finance, administration, Life Groups and building management.
We are not part of any main church denomination, but are affiliated to the Ignite Network – a growing network of churches and organisations working together to serve the transformation of lives and communities across the East of England and beyond.
We are very much a family church. We welcome everyone of any faith or none to come to our church meetings and activities.
This is a summary of what we believe:
- The Bible is the inspired word of God.
- The Trinity (The equality of Father, Son and Holy Spirit).
- The sinfulness of human nature and the need for salvation through faith in Jesus.
- The deity and humanity of Christ.
- The work of the Holy Spirit to bring us to faith and to empower and equip us.
- The return of Christ to receive His church and the final judgement of the world.
- The church of Jesus Christ is made up of those who acknowledge Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
